WillMyPhoneWork.net Launches a New and Improved Website and Tool

Will My Phone Work provides a free online tool where users can see if their mobile device is compatible with almost any mobile network carrier in the world. Less than a year ago, the website was launched with only a few thousand devices. Now we’re quickly approaching 10,000 mobile devices and beyond!

We are pleased to announce that the website has been redesigned and includes the following new features:

  1. Advance Lookup

Using the Advance Lookup section, you’ll be able to perform tasks such as, “Provide me a list of all Samsung smartphones which are compatible on 4G LTE for all network carriers in Argentina”. This tool is very powerful and has been the #1 requested new feature. Access it here: http://willmyphonework.net/AdvanceLookup.

  1. Partial Compatibility

Search results on the main page and advance lookup will now show you if a device is partially compatible with a mobile network carrier. This is important as some mobile devices may not support every single network band that a network carrier has available.

  1. “ALL” Options for Sub-models and Carriers

Previously, if you wanted to search all sub-models for a device model, or all carriers for a country, you had to search one-by-one. Now I’ve added an ALL option so that you can get this list in one search. Example: Search all Samsung Galaxy S6 models, or search all Mobile Network Carriers in the USA.

  1. Detailed Search Results

Now, when a device is not compatible with a mobile network, a message will be listed below the X icon stating why. This will give you greater clarity instead of having to figure it out yourself.

  1. More Device and Carrier Network Details

When searching a single device model or sub-model, you’ll notice a new phone icon. Hovering your mouse over it will reveal the network frequencies of the device. When searching against a single network carrier, you’ll see the carrier’s supported network frequencies whenever there is a non-compatibility for 2G, 3G, or 4G LTE. This will add more clarity and help you see the “big picture”.

In addition, the website has a cleaner design, faster interface, plus many more improvements to make your searching experience better.
