It feels like almost every day a new entrant shows up on the smartwatch market. Chinese electronic manufacturer ZGPAX has released the S79 Bluetooth smartwatch phone. This device falls under the sub-$30 smartwatch market and has a lot of nifty features and colours available.
The smartwatch has a 1.54” Arc HD touch screen. It features a standard beveled edge design which feels more comfortable. The resolution of the display is 240 x 240 pixels. The first thing you’ll notice when you wear this smartwatch is how light it is. It only weighs 0.06 kgs (0.13 lbs). It does have a built-in camera but with 0.3 megapixels. The band is made with standard rubber while the casing is stainless steel.
For a sub-$30 smartwatch, it’s cool to see that it supports a SIM card so that you can make phone calls. It supports GSM quad-band which means it’s compatible with most mobile network carriers in the world.
